OREGON STEELHEAD FISHING

Winter Steelhead fishing is a great opportunity to truly experience Oregon. Whether the Rogue, South, or North Umpqua Rivers are in your backyard or a vacation destination--you're sure to have a fun day. Guided winter Steelhead trips typically start in January and run through March on the rivers in Southern Oregon.

Winter Steelhead on the Rogue are a mix of hatchery and wild fish usually weighing between 12-20 lbs and they always put up a good fight. Taylor grew up in Grants Pass and knows the Rogue River like the back of his hand. While the fishing is great, there is also beautiful scenery and wildlife to take in on your trip.

Fishing on the North and South Umpqua rivers out of Roseburg are also fun trips. Both rivers have winter Steelhead, but each river has unique differences in the fish population including hatchery and wild fish. Once a year we also have the opportunity to fish the Umpqua Fishery Enhancement Derby and that is always a great time!
