In the Eastern part of Oregon we hunt two neighboring ranches where the Rocky Mountain Elk gather. This special, 5-day LOP season is at the tail end of October. You can expect to put some miles on your boots during this hunt so being in "hiking" shape is ideal. We outfit a wall tent camp and provide daily meals to our clients during the entirety of the five days. Thorp Outdoors also offers winter/spring Rocky Mountain cow elk hunts on these two ranches. Reservations for these hunts are time sensitive. Please inquire for bookings and additional information.
Our Southern Oregon hunting property spreads over 2,500 rolling acres and houses multiple species of deer. We hunt true Columbia Blacktail bucks and the exclusive Columbia Whitetails. The spot and stalk method is used and you can expect light walking and travel via our maintained road system. This hunt can accommodate a wide variety of hunters.
