Kenai River Charters

During the summer months of June, July and August we spend our time on the fresh waterways in South Central Alaska. Specifically, the Kenai And Kasilof rivers. We fish all salmon species including Chinook, Sockeye, Silvers and Pinks. We seat four people and a guide on our boats and provide all the necessary fishing/safety equipment needed for the trip. We accommodate a wide range of ages assuring everyone with a good time!


What to Bring

While we supply all the fishing and safety equipment for your adventure, you’ll need or want to bring the following:

  • State of Alaska FISHING LICENSE
  • Rain gear (weather dependent)
  • Layered clothing, we can experience multiple seasons in one day
  • Food/Beverages
  • Sunglasses
  • Camera

What to Expect

You can expect to spend 6-8 hours fishing depending on the type of trip purchased. There is possibility to see moose, bears, and bald eagles along with other wildlife. The weather varies from hour-to-hour so please be prepared for anything. As your guide and business owner, you can expect us to give you the very best opportunity to catch fish. We pride ourselves on our knowledge and have top notch experience in our field.

The Fish

Chinook “King” Salmon

The world famous King salmon run our rivers late May through the end of July. These fish are the real deal and give you a run for your money kind of fight. Join us for your shot at a fish of a lifetime!

Sockeye “Red” Salmon

These fish run by the thousands through the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers. This is definitely a “meat hunt” kind of trip but definitely doesn’t lack the adventure and fun! Great for big groups and kids. Sockeye run July – August.

Coho “Silver” Salmon

Feisty and fun! One of our personal favorite runs to fish for all summer. Perfect for all kinds of fishermen or non-fishermen! These fish run August – September, come and enjoy the mild weather and hot fishing!
